Building on several successful conferences held by NYMTC and the NYU Wagner Rudin Center, and recent events on the Northeast Corridor held by the Regional Plan Association and the University of Delaware, this event will address the key transportation issues affecting the Northeast Megaregion. Recognizing that what happens to the Northeast Corridor beyond the boundaries of New York is critically important to the New York metropolitan region, the goals of this symposium are two-fold:

(1) To foster a better understanding of the relationship between the Northeast Corridor and the broader megaregion and the importance of thinking beyond our own borders; and,

(2) To begin the discussion of how to address transportation challenges beyond the region that affect New York.

Please join us and over 200 public officials, community and business leaders, transportation providers and planners, academic experts, and the regional press corps, as we discuss one of the most pressing transportation challenges in the New York metropolitan area.

This event is eligible for the following AIA continuing education credits:CES LUs: 3, CES HSW: 3
